Southern Counties DHIA provides vital milk analysis testing services to help dairy members with the data for the betterment of their dairy herds.
Using a Dhia Dstream lab software to compile all data collected in the field with the analysis results from the lab. Using an updated handheld software called Weighin from Agrtitech.
Our Services
What We Provide
Data Collection
Our Dairy Field Technicians travel directly to dairy farms to collect herd milk samples and data using handheld computers. At the end of each milking the data collected gets imported into DHI-Plus or DC305.
Milk Analysis
Using an automated milk sample preparation system our team runs and collects detailed metrics. MUN analysis are also performed using a wet chemistry method for greater accuracy.
Processing
Working with a lab quality assurance program monitored by a third party on a monthly basis. We generate analytic reports to farmers detailing metrics like butterfat, protein, and somatic cells.
